Drone Technician

About the Position:
We are seeking skilled technicians (in preparation for upcoming contracts) to maintain long-endurance unmanned platforms across various European locations. Working on a rotational shift, you’ll be responsible for UAV maintenance, repairs, and mission readiness. You’ll also participate in equipment packing, transport, and site preparation, ensuring seamless operations. At Nordic Unmanned, we value cross-training; you’ll have the chance to expand your skills as a UAV pilot or payload operator, while your core competency remains as a technician.
For permanent employment, applicants must reside in Norway. However, we are also open to considering candidates based outside of Norway for a consultancy arrangement.
Qualifications:
- Completion of Maintenance Technician Level 1 course for the Textron Aerosonde Mk 4.7, HQ, or Schiebel Camcopter S-100.
- Technical education as an Aircraft Technician, Avionic Specialist, Mechanic, or Engineer. Relevant experience can substitute education.
- Aviation expertise and interest. Licenses (i.e. PPL, UAV) are advantageous.
- IT Skills
- Driver's license (Class BE preferred).
- Ability to gain security clearance.
- Proficient in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adaptability to acquire necessary competencies.
