Group Business Controller

To help us on our journey, we are now looking for a Group Business Controller. This position will be responsible for following up on group operations and support the business in various financial needs and collaborate with other functions outside finance in order to understand what drives the business and identify business improvements. The role will report to the CFO. As part of the Finance team within Nordic Unmanned you will have a central role in making sure we have the necessary financial data and insights to take the best decisions. The position is based in Sandnes and offers flexible office solutions.
It is a requirement for this position that applicants must have a residential address in Norway.
Key responsibilities – How will you help us grow?
- Forecasting and annual budget processes for the group
- Preparation, analysis and reporting on ongoing cash flow and liquidity situation
- Oversight over segment business control function
- Be responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting on operations, financial performance, risks & KPI’s etc. for the group
- Participate in tender processes
- Work closely with top management in preparing business cases, scenario analysis and investment valuations
- Driving enhancement and standardisation of budgeting and planning process across the group
- Work to continually provide process and efficiency improvements
- Contribute to quarterly and yearly group consolidation process of financial reporting
- Contribute to preparation of financial documentation to the Board of Directors
- Ad hoc tasks within finance team
Desired experience and qualifications – What do you bring to the table?
- Preferably a master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (consulting, finance, business controlling or similar)
- Good competence in Microsoft systems, financial ERP systems and knowledge in Business Intelligence tools like Power BI or equivalent is an advantage
- Excellent command of written and oral English. Norwegian is an advantage but not a prerequisite
