About the position
We are looking for technicians who can perform maintenance on lang endurance platforms on various deployments mainly in Europe. The position will work a rotational shift pattern. The maintenance team is deployed to Nordic Unmanned’s operational sites in Europe, and is responsible for planning and carrying out flights and maintenance. As a technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the UAV, components, and other equipment. You may also be responsible for carrying out the payload operator role during operations. You will participate in the packing, transport, and preparation of the equipment for operation, as well as performing maintenance after the end of the flight.
Qualifications:
- Maintenance Technician level 1 course for the Aerosonde Mk 4.7, Block G SUAS
- Technical education; Aircraft Technician / Avionic / Mechanic. Relevant experience can compensate for lack of education.
- Expertise in, and interest in, aviation is an advantage.
- Driver's license, preferably class BE, but B is satisfactory.
- It is a prerequisite for employment that the candidate can be cleared for security.
- You must master English, written and orally. It is an advantage if you speak other European languages as well.
- You must be willing to learn and be flexible, and be able to acquire the necessary competence that the company needs.
Personal characteristics:
- You are self-driven and work well in teams, but at the same time you are comfortable with working independently.
- You have good communication and collaboration skills.
- You are flexible, willing to change and adaptable.
