Nordic Unmanned Flight Services is seeking a dynamic and experienced senior commercial leader to spearhead our efforts in delivering tenders, building the NU Flight Services business and expanding relationships with military and government agencies and broadening our commercial business.
Key responsibilities – How will you help us grow?
- Drive Tender Success: Lead the development of comprehensive, compliant, and competitive proposals for government contracts, collaborating with technical teams to secure large-scale wins.
- Manage Sales Processes: Deliver smaller leads, RFQs, and managing the sales pipeline, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery while keeping CRM systems up to date.
- Represent NU Flight Services: Take ownership of trade show participation, conferences, and partnership review meetings, presenting solutions professionally to enhance market visibility.
- Expand Strategic Partnerships: Build and strengthen relationships with military and government agencies, defense contractors, and regulatory bodies, fostering trust and long-term collaboration.
- Explore New Opportunities: Identify and develop partnerships with OEM platforms and other stakeholders to address customer needs and maintain market competitiveness.
- Build Customer-Centric Solutions: Focus on understanding partner requirements, tailoring solutions to meet their needs, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the engagement.
- Lead Engagement Strategy: Identify key stakeholders—decision-makers, gatekeepers, and end-users—in the sales process to influence outcomes and drive conversions.
- Monitor Market Trends: Stay informed on industry developments, competitor activities, and technological innovations to position NU Flight Services as an industry leader.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with internal teams to align strategies, ensure effective delivery, and meet customer expectations.
Desired experience and qualifications – What do you bring to the table?
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, with a focus on military and government agencies and/or commercial sectors.
- An understanding of the drone industry and applicability of drones is preferrable.
- Proven track record of winning large contracts and partnerships in the government and commercial spaces.
- Deep knowledge of government procurement processes, defence contracting, and/or drone technology applications.

- Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven approach.
- An excellent negotiator, able to build relationships with key decision-makers to drive sales growth with new and existing customers.
- Detail orientated, able to understand, navigate and deliver large complex tenders.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
